This is shaping up to be an eventful month....and it is only the 3erd.
1.My car is gone. :( A lady hit me and that is the end.
2.We might move...but only if Dan can't find a job in SA. But we don't know how long he has to look...his project is going down...soon(???). Maybe this month. Or in May. Or August.
3.I have my first 100 mile run on Saturday. At least this one is my choice! And fun. :)

- Why and when I started running is a bit of a tale. Basically, I ran my first race at the age of 6. I beat a lot of 5th graders in the mile at a summer track meet. Fast forward about 6 years. At this point in my life, I was over weight and in horrible shape. My doctor told me that if I wanted any chance of controlling my asthma, I needed to get in better shape. So I started walking...and then running. That was about 15 years ago. It is sorta funny that I considered myself a "fitness runner" until after winning my first ultra. Now I run because it is a passion. I love pushing myself to the limit and seeing if I can push my limits farther. I love being fit. And I LOVE being out doors on the trails. I have run more races then I can count. But only 6 marathons and 3 ultras. The PR I am most proud of is my 18:05 5k last summer. I beat everyone at that race. Even the guys. In 2007, I placed 3erd overall at the SA marathon and 1st in Bexar county the year before that. But I am not proud of those times. Both of those races were on off days for me. The only advise I have is never give up. It is amazing what our bodies can accomplish if we train them properly and give them time.

About the job thing...maybe somewhere in the ACCD there is a position. You can't beat the hours and time off working for the colleges. I'm sure they post openings online. What about Rackspace too? I will keep an eye out. When Michael was looking for a job he posted on Monster Jobs online...he got like 20 phone calls and even more emails! Just be sure to put what cities you are willing to live in. Love you!
Good luck at RR100 this weekend! You'll do great. I wish I could be there to cheer, but can't wait to hear how it all goes.
